Zovo Group Expenses
A shared expense page for a trip or a house, with balances and who pays whom.
Zovo Group Expenses makes a shared web page for a trip, a shared house or a group event. Everyone with the link adds what they paid, split equally, by set amounts or by shares. The page shows each person's balance and a short list of payments that settles everyone up. The organizer gets a private link with all expenses and a CSV download.
What it does
- A shared page anyone in the group can open on a phone, no account and no app
- Equal, set-amount and share splits, in any ISO 4217 currency with its own decimals (JPY 0, KWD 3)
- Whole-cent arithmetic with a stated rule for leftover cents
- Balances and a settle-up list of at most one fewer payment than people, checked to bring each balance to zero
- Record payments between people as they settle
- Private organizer page with CSV export; delete or close from the chat
Try asking
“Make a shared expense page for our Lisbon trip in EUR for Ana, Ben, Chi and Dev”
“Ledger for our flat in GBP: Sam, Priya, Tom. Sam paid 96.30 for groceries”
“Show the balances for my ledger”
Limitations
- One currency per ledger; no exchange rates
- Members are display names only; there are no accounts, emails or reminders
- Anyone with the public link can add expenses; the organizer can delete them
- Pages end 120 days after they are made
- The settle-up list is short (at most one fewer payment than people) but not always the shortest possible
